thankful

Tonight I am thankful for a night out with my sweet baby boy.  I hate it when Duane has his MBA class and can't spend the evening with us, but I'm thankful for a hardworking husband that does so much so that I can stay home and spend my time with Kason.

I'm thankful for Kason's sweet smile.

I'm thankful for his curiosity..even if it means he asks "what's that?" 1,239 times a day. :)

I'm thankful for a healthy boy, that loves to get dirty.  

I'm thankful for Kason's love for water, any type of water.

I'm thankful for his tantrums, even though they make me crazy.  I'm thankful that he is healthy enough to throw tantrums, many parents long for a baby healthy enough to show so much emotion.

I'm thankful for the days where simple things like throwing rocks into the creek can keep Kason busy for hours.

I'm thankful for a calm, summer evening and a gorgeous sunset.

I'm thankful for clean, fresh little boys.

I'm thankful for bedtime stories.

Most of all, I'm thankful that God chose me to be Kason's momma.  To love him and guide him.  I don't know why he felt it necessary to bless me so much, but I'm so glad that he did.
