You know...

You know you're almost in your third trimester when. . .

...It is getting pretty hard to bend down to pick things up off the ground.  I get so aggravated when I drop something on the floor because I know I will have to bend down to pick it up.

...You are starting to run out of energy.  Not 5 minutes ago my phone was ringing in the kitchen and I was sitting on the couch.  I literally could not muster up the energy to go into the kitchen and answer it!

...You sleep for 14 hours in one night (see above:)).  Last night I fell asleep on the couch at 8:15.  At 10, Duane woke me up to go to bed.  I fell right back asleep and slept until 9:45 this morning (with of course my usual middle of the night bathroom breaks).  Talk about a wild Friday night! :)

...You've become increasingly emotional.  I cry over the dumbest things.  My tear ducts are on overload!

...You're baby's kicks and movements are starting to get less comfortable.  I find myself trying to push Baby G down because he gets dangerously close to my lungs and I start to get short of breath!  Ouch!

...You dream about sleeping on your stomach.

...You get mild contractions from cleaning.  I think I can find a way to use this to my advantage! :)

...You wake up with charlie horses in BOTH legs that wreak havoc on your calves for the next 3 days.  Yuck!

...You're stomach looks lopsided a lot of the time.  Baby G favors my right side of my stomach over my left, and it's quite noticeable!

...You start to envision what your Christmas card will look like next year.  I think it'll be a whole lot cuter! :)

...You have begun thinking about what your son's "birthday" will look like.  The thought of giving birth is becoming much more real.  VERY real, very scary, and very exciting!!

...You are realizing that in 3 short months you will get to meet your baby.  In 3 months I will be holding my son.  In 3 months there will be another human living in our home. In 3 months our lives will be forever changed.  In 3 months we will love this little guy even more than we do today, at 27 weeks.  3 months, wow!  That seems like so soon but at the same time an eternity away.  I joke about pregnancy being miserable and never wanting to do it again, but in all seriousness, I am truly enjoying every minute of it.  I love feeling Baby G move around inside of me.  I love feeling his hiccups.  I love watching my stomach "dance" when he moves.  It's the neatest thing I know I will ever experience and I am trying to take it all in.  I can't wait for March to get here so we can finally meet this baby boy that has been my roommate for 7 months.

3 months, I like the sound of that! :)
